Facilitation Skills and Training-of-Trainer Programs

Trainings on facilitation skills include general skills, e.g., empathic listening, tracking conversations, naming dynamics in the room, and skills specific to a particular facilitation setting, such as intergroup dialogue.

Additionally, we implement training-of-trainer (ToT) programs and we train organizations to design and deliver ToT programs. All facilitation skills and ToT programs include micro-facilitation in which participants facilitate a component of a training or other process. Extended ToT programs include ongoing coaching and mentoring in a staged process, ensuring participants are confident and ready to facilitate/co-facilitate on their own.

Selected Topics:

  • Facilitation Skills for Complex Environments

  • Facilitation Skills for Dialogue

  • Facilitating Meetings

  • Designing a Training-of-Trainers Program

“What made this training unique was that it gave me the opportunity to practice each stage of the dialogue process while receiving immediate, constructive feedback.”
